You have received a SIM card for your StarLine telematics system and would now like to activate it. There are no costs for you and you do not enter into any obligations. We only need your contact details so that we can inform you about the necessary extension after the prepaid term has expired.
PREPAID TERM
The prepaid term is usually 12 months. You can book an extension of 12, 24 or 36 months at any time. Automatic renewal by SEPA direct debit is more convenient. At the end of the prepaid term, the SIM card is automatically deactivated without any "ifs & buts". You don't have to cancel anything. Deactivated SIM cards can be reactivated within at least 6 months.
AUTOMATIC RENEWAL
The automatic extension of the prepaid term by SEPA direct debit is convenient and secure. Here we debit 27 euros from your account every 6 months after the prepaid term has expired. This corresponds to only 4.50 euros/month. You will receive the invoice as a PDF by e-mail. You can cancel this direct debit at any time and your SIM card will be deactivated after the prepaid term has expired.

With the SIM card and the AMPIRE Car Connect tariff for the StarLine telematics systems, we offer you the best possible technical connection to your car. In addition, the strongest mobile network is always selected automatically. If you have no or poor data reception in rural areas, you can simply communicate with your StarLine system by text message or voice call.
THE CAR CONNECT TARIFF
The CAR CONNECT TARIFF from Ampire includes 50 MB of data, 10 text messages and 10 minutes of calls every 60 seconds every month. It therefore offers sufficient inclusive data/SMS/voice credit for the non-commercial use of your StarLine telematics system. If the data volume is exceeded, the data connection is suspended until the end of the month. However, you remain in contact with your vehicle via SMS.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS, DATA PROTECTION/SECURITY, LIABILITY AND NON-PAYMENT
1. additional consumption (data) in excess of the booked tariff will be charged according to the price list with a subsequent billing period of up to 12 months. If the volume of the M2M card tariff booked by the customer is exceeded, the additional charge shall always be made at the expense of the user.
2. the customer makes full use of the data, service, support and operating security provided by the network operator.
3. The co-operation with Ampire Electronics GmbH & Co. KG does not result in any technical connection or dependency on Ampire Electronics GmbH & Co.
4. the maximum transmission rate for telecommunication services depends on the terminal device used, the available network technology and the technical and geographical conditions at the place of use.
5. Ampire Electronics GmbH & Co. KG accepts no liability for cards and system failures that are not caused intentionally or through gross negligence by the network operator or Ampire Electronics GmbH & Co. The contractor hereby confirms that the order processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the general guidelines of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
6. an additional GDPR contract can be concluded at the customer's request.
7. in the event of non-payment, we reserve the right to switch off and deactivate your network operator cards hosted via Ampire Electronics GmbH & Co.
