v.LINK video insertion for Mercedes vehicles generation NTG4.5 with Comand Online or Audio20. For connection of 2 different video sources (upgraded devices, for example DVD player, DVB-T tuner), 1 RGB source and 1 rear-view camera.

Compatibility

Compatible to Mercedes Benz vehicles gerneration NTG4.5 with Comand Online or Audio20 (also with Becker MapPilot) with 4pin HSD LVDS connector on the monitor.

Audio20 NTG4.5 have been installed later than above dates for Comand Online. The Becker MapPilot or preparation for it are available only in combination with Audio20 NTG4.5. An Audio50 APS with arrow only navigation does not exist as NTG4.5 If above info does not identify the head-unit, for vehicles build til end of 2012, we suggest to check prior to ordering on backside of head-unit or monitor whether the connector for LVDS-video is a round HSD 4pin.

Limitations
Video only
- The interface inserts ONLY video signals into the infotainment. For sound use the possibly existing factory-audio-AUX-input or a FM-modulator.

The driver must not be distracted by moving pictures. By law, watching mobbing pictures while driving is prohibited. This Interface should only be used to display fixed menus or rear-view-cam pictures when the vehicle is moving, for example the MP3 menu for DV upgrades.
