The well-known problem: a rear-view camera cannot easily be mounted on vehicles with rear doors. If you now use a conventional body camera you can point it downwards, but the rear of many vehicles is slightly rounded towards the top. A normal reversing camera would capture this curvature and thereby cover the trailer coupling, the running board or the bumper.
With the special housing of the reversing camera, the camera module itself is set beyond the curve and thus covers the entire rear wall, bumper, etc. Only then is precise maneuvering possible, especially when it is only a few centimeters. The angle of the camera module can be adjusted and can therefore be perfectly adapted to the conditions on your vehicle.
