Vehicle Security has become an increasing issue over recent years, with the introduction of new technology being used by high tech car thieves to defeat the modern vehicle, principally through the vulnerability of the OBD port on the vehicle. There are many devices on the market, some as simple as a clip on housing that can be pushed on, however this type of solution is not robust enough to defeat a professional criminal. We've now introduced a new product to overcome this vulnerability, OBD-Lock provides a 1m PnP harness, so that the OBD socket can be relocated to a secure location. This solution requires professional installation from an approved installation centre, this is key to ensure that the port cannot be found, let alone accessed - security buys time!
