According to 1 (1) sentence 2 of the Battery Act, the Battery Act also applies to batteries that are installed in other products or included with other products. As a consumer, you are legally obliged to return used batteries. You can return your old batteries to public collection points in your municipality or anywhere where batteries of the type in question are sold. You can also return your batteries free of charge by mail. If you wish to make use of the latter option, please send your old batteries postage paid to our address (unpaid deliveries will be rejected).

These symbols can be found on batteries and rechargeable batteries that contain harmful substances:
- Pb = Battery/rechargeable battery contains lead
- Cd = Battery/rechargeable battery contains cadmium
- Hg = Battery/rechargeable battery contains mercury
