Ampire Electronics GmbH&Co.KG Statement on the EU Data Act

Dear Customers and Partners,

Ampire Electronics GmbH&Co.KG welcomes the objectives of the new EU Data Act, which aims to strengthen the control and access to data. We share the vision of a fair and transparent approach to data generated through the use of connected devices.

As a manufacturer of high-quality electronic products for vehicles and other applications, we would like to take a clear position in the context of the new legislation:

Ampire does not collect or process user data

Our products, such as our car radios, navigation systems, dashcams, and alarm systems, are designed to not collect, store, or transmit any personal or device-specific user data to third parties. We are convinced that our customers have the right to privacy and full control over their data. For this reason, we deliberately avoid integrating data interfaces that would allow for the retrieval of usage data.

What does this mean for our products and you as a user?

  • 100% Data Security: Your data remains exclusively on your device and cannot be accessed by us or other parties.

  • No Remote Maintenance via User Data: Since we do not collect any data, there is no possibility for remote maintenance based on the analysis of user data.

  • Full Control: You have full control over the use of our products at all times, without having to worry about your data being used or analyzed for commercial purposes.

The philosophy of Ampire has always been to develop products that are characterized by the highest quality, reliability, and ease of use. This includes protecting your privacy from the very beginning. We are proud that we can guarantee this data security to our customers, which now gains even greater importance in the spirit of the new EU Data Act.
