AMPIRE Front & Rear Dual-Dashcam with 1080p (Full-HD) resolution, WLAN and GPS

AMPIRE dual dashcam DC2 with high-resolution cameras and microphone for front and rear view with storage on an optional microSD card and complete operation via free smartphone app. An integrated GPS sensor enables positioning and speed determination. The 3D G-sensor integrated in the front camera recognizes accidents and secures automatic events on the microSD card. You can view and export the recordings on your smartphone or tablet via WLAN. In addition, all settings are conveniently made using a smartphone app.

Visually, the matt black DC2 dashcam is rather small and inconspicuous. An LCD display and unnecessary buttons and lighting were deliberately omitted. Installed behind the interior mirror, the front camera is hardly noticeable. The rear camera can be used to monitor the passenger compartment or rear traffic.

The optionally available built-in power supply unit (item no. ACC) for the DC1 Dashcam enables the so-called parking lot mode. When the parking lot mode is activated, the dashcam remains switched on and "guards" your vehicle even when the ignition is switched off. To ensure that the starter battery is not drained, the ACC automatically switches off the dashcam when the input voltage reaches 11.9 volts (23.9 volts). The final shutdown occurs 5 minutes after the undervoltage has been reached.
