All CAN bus alarm systems from StarLine are conveniently and automatically armed with your car's radio key or comfort access (Keyless Go) without any loss of comfort. No additional radio remote control needs to be operated. The integrated digital engine block via the CAN data bus is an additional immobiliser that effectively prevents the vehicle from being driven away. Copied remote controls or keyless entry extensions don't stand a chance. Various alarm zones and the integrated 3D shock, tilt and motion sensor report a break-in without false alarms via the 126dB siren, indicators and optionally the vehicle horn. By the way, sirens are never controlled wirelessly in a StarLine alarm system, because radio sirens are easily manipulated by illegal jammers. You can conveniently operate the system and make all settings via Bluetooth using your smartphone. The free StarLine 2 app for Apple and Android is available for this purpose. StarLine alarm systems are equipped with several CAN and LIN data bus interfaces, as well as various analogue inputs and outputs, so that they can be perfectly integrated into any vehicle. The trained StarLine installation partner delivers and installs the systems, adapts the software exactly to your car and programs the necessary flexible logics for the individual requirements of your vehicle.  

1. KEYLESS-PROTECTION

Not only for vehicles with comfort access (keyless-go) is a second authentication important when disarming the alarm system. Only this driver identification protects against copied remote controls and keyless-go extensions. This second authentication can be done either by code entry (via the vehicle buttons), your smartphone or automatically by the Bluetooth transponders. These waterproof key fobs (Bluetooth TAGs) conveniently verify you as the driver when you open the car. We generally recommend choosing this option, because it couldn't be easier or more convenient.

2. VIDEO MONITORING

Every StarLine alarm system can automatically control a dashcam via flexible logic. This means that the dashcam will start recording and save to an SD card while driving, as well as when the vehicle is parked in the event of a break-in. The Ampire DC1 Dashcam is inconspicuously mounted on the windscreen. Of course, the Ampire DC2 with additional rear camera can also be installed for an additional charge. A high-quality SANDISK 32GB memory card is included.

3. ALARMING ON SMARTPHONE

A GSM modem with two SIM card slots integrated in the alarm centre establishes communication between the owner and the vehicle. Never miss an alarm or status message again and conveniently operate your alarm system worldwide via smartphone or PC. In addition, a GSM modem enables convenient remote maintenance including the receipt of firmware updates. Its anti-jammer function triggers a loud full alarm in case of loss of the GSM connection caused by the use of illegal jammers. In addition, the StarLine server then informs you that the connection to the vehicle has been interrupted.

4. SIM CARD FOR GSM MODULE

Without a SIM card you cannot stay in touch with your StarLine alarm system including GSM module. With this SIM card, the StarLine alarm system will always connect to the regionally strongest of the four German mobile networks. If you are travelling in rural areas without mobile data coverage, you can alternatively communicate with your StarLine alarm system via SMS or voice call.The AMPIRE Car Connect tariff provides you with sufficient inclusive data/SMS/voice volume for your StarLine alarm system. In addition, all roaming costs in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and United Kingdom are already included. At the end of the 12-month term, the SIM card is automatically deactivated without any "ifs & buts". If you would like to continue to be in contact with your StarLine alarm system, you can easily order a 12, 24 or 36-month extension in the Ampire online shop. The extension can be done at any time, because the newly acquired months are appended to the existing term. So you will not lose anything. It's even more convenient with a SEPA direct debit that can be cancelled at any time, which automatically extends your flat rate by 6 months. Deactivated SIM cards can be reactivated within 12 months.

5. GPS/GLONASS MODULE

For StarLine alarm systems with GSM modem, you can opt for the optional GPS/GLONASS satellite positioning. Then your vehicle can be located worldwide via the free StarLine web portal. All journeys and histories are stored on the free server for three months and the data can be accessed easily and clearly via smartphone, tablet or PC. This way you can keep an eye on all your vehicles protected with StarLine alarm systems.

6. INSTALLATION AND INSTRUCTION

Due to the wide range of customisation possibilities of the StarLine alarm systems, they are neither available online nor suitable for self-installation. The sales price shown here for professional installation and programming by a certified StarLine installation specialist in your area applies to a standard installation in cars and vans with CAN bus. The standard installation includes the individual programming of the alarm control unit to your vehicle type; the installation of the service button with integrated LED, the alarm control unit and alarm siren; the professional wiring of all components to each other including the production of high-quality contacts; as well as the protection of all doors, the bonnet and the boot. In addition, the scope of services includes monitoring the ignition, preventing the engine from starting or blocking the engine (depending on the vehicle) and the final calibration of the 3D shock, tilt and motion sensor. In the event of an intrusion, the alarm is signalled visually via the vehicle indicators and acoustically via the alarm siren. For systems with GSM/GPS functionality, all communication settings are also carried out and reception is tested. Further special and comfort functions, such as the control of a parking heater, or the installation in older vehicles without CAN bus, or the installation in special conversions, such as motorhomes and vans, are not standard installations and are subject to an extra charge.

StarLine alarm systems are sold exclusively including professional installation and programming by a certified StarLine installation specialist. Due to the wide range of customisation options, StarLine alarm systems are neither available online nor approved for self-installation.
