What is the difference between OFCu and ECu copper?
The difference comes from the production of the individual wires, where OFCu (with a purity of 99.95%) is referred to as oxygen-free copper (not deoxidized) and ECu (with a purity of 99.90%) as oxygen-containing copper.
OFCu is used for single wires from 0.07 to 0.15 mm and ECu copper is used for wires from 0.20 to 0.30 mm.
