With this CAN bus interface, you can read out all relevant lines from three different CAN bus systems in the vehicle that you need for installing car accessories, car alarm systems, and remote start systems from the respective CAN bus systems of modern cars and also control the most important alarm and comfort functions via these lines. The CAC300 CAN bus interface can be installed in a wide range of vehicles and controlled by any car alarm system or remote control on the market via ground pulses.

We supply the CAC300 with the latest firmware for all vehicle types in the compatibility list. If you specify the exact vehicle type when placing your order, we will send you a vehicle-specific connection diagram. The wiring is very simple. In addition to the 12-volt operating voltage, only the two or three CAN bus lines need to be connected. There are separate connection cables for all inputs and outputs.
The firmware can be updated with a computer using the optionally available BL600 programming interface if required.

OVERVIEW OF CONTROLLED FUNCTIONS

INDICATORS
- When 12 volts DC is applied to this input, the vehicle indicators illuminate.
COMFORT LOCKING OF THE VEHICLE
- When ground is applied to this input, all doors, windows, and the sunroof lock.
OPEN CENTRAL LOCKING OF THE DRIVER'S DOOR
- When ground is applied to this input, only the driver's door opens.
OPEN CENTRAL LOCKING OF ALL DOORS
- When ground is applied to this input, all doors open.
OPEN TRUNK
- When ground is applied to this input, the electric trunk opens.
CLOSE ALL ELECTRIC WINDOWS
- When ground is applied to this input, all windows close after 1.5 seconds.
START ENGINE
- When ground is applied to this input, the engine starts.
STOP ENGINE
- When ground is applied to this input, the engine stops.
SIMULATE DRIVER'S DOOR CONTACT
- When ground is applied to this input, the opening of the driver's door is simulated on the CAN.

OVERVIEW OF ANALOG OUTPUTS

FOOT BRAKE
- When the foot brake is depressed and the ignition is switched on, 12 volts DC is applied to the output.
CENTRAL LOCKING (alternative)
- Vehicle-specific output for controlling the central locking system.
INDICATORS (alternative)
- Vehicle-specific output for controlling the vehicle indicators.
ACCESSORY POSITION
- After inserting the vehicle key into the ignition lock, 12 volts DC is applied to the output.
IGNITION
- After switching on the ignition, 12 volts DC is applied to this output.
ENGINE SPEED
- When the engine is running, a speed signal (RPM) is applied to the output.
ENGINE OFF
- When the ignition is switched on and the engine is switched off, ground is applied to the output.
SPEED
- If the vehicle is traveling at over 10 km/h, a ground is present at the output and only switches off when the ignition is turned off.
HANDBRAKE (P FOR AUTOMATIC)
- When the ignition is switched on and the handbrake is applied (P for automatic), a ground is present at the output.
SWITCH SEQUENCE
- Ground is present at the output when a programmed switch sequence has been pressed.
CENTRAL LOCKING OPENED WITH FACTORY REMOTE CONTROL
- A 500 ms ground pulse is present at the output after opening with the factory remote control.
CENTRAL LOCKING LOCKED WITH FACTORY REMOTE CONTROL
- A 500 ms ground pulse is present at the output after closing with the factory remote control.
STATUS OUTPUT
- After locking with the factory remote control, ground is applied to the output.
ALARM FROM THE FACTORY ALARM SYSTEM
- When the factory alarm system is triggered, ground is applied to the output.
BONNET CONTACT
- When the bonnet is opened, ground is applied to the output.
TRUNK CONTACT
- When the trunk is opened, ground is applied to the output.
OTHER DOOR CONTACTS
- When the other doors are opened, ground is applied to the output.
DRIVER'S DOOR CONTACT
- When the driver's door is opened, ground is applied to the output.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Please check the vehicle list in the download area to see which vehicles are compatible. Not all functions are technically possible in all vehicles and are, of course, dependent on the equipment. After installation, please check that there are no malfunctions and that the data bus goes into sleep mode after 45 minutes at the latest. The quiescent current before and after installation of the CAC300 must not increase significantly.
