USING THE INTERFACE
Our smartphone interface is compatible with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto, making it a smart and safer way to use your smartphone in the car. Everything is controlled using the cars own buttons, controls, and touchscreen. If your car doesnt have a touchscreen, operation is still possible, though it may be more cumbersome.
Ideally, you should control Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto functions using voice commands such as Siri or OK Google via the included microphone; in some vehicles, the factory-installed microphone can still be used.
All apps that youre permitted to use on your smartphone while driving can be operated with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto directly via the display or via voice control. You can easily get directions and send and receive messages.
While navigating, you can listen to your favorite musicfor example, via Spotifyor your favorite radio station through a radio appall while staying focused on the road.

CONNECTING YOUR SMARTPHONE
You can conveniently connect your smartphone either via the USB port (wired) or wirelessly via Wi-Fi. Wireless Apple CarPlay® is supported starting with the Apple iPhone 5. Of course, Wireless Google Android is also supported if your Android smartphone runs Android 11 and Android Auto 4.8 or higher and has 5 GHz Wi-Fi.

VIDEO AND AUDIO INPUT FROM THE INTERFACE
The video is displayed on the entire factory-installed monitor, and the audio must be fed through the AUX audio input or Bluetooth A2DP input of your factory-installed infotainment system. Before placing your order, please check whether your factory-installed infotainment system has an AUX audio input or supports Bluetooth A2DP.
If your vehicle has only A2DP Bluetooth audio streaming or an AUX audio input, your cell phone must no longer be paired with the car; as a result, all functions of the factory-installed smartphone integration will be disabled, and all phone functions will be handled through the interface.
If your vehicle has both an AUX audio input and A2DP Bluetooth audio streaming, we recommend using A2DP for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto and using the AUX audio input for the interfaces other functions (DAB+, etc.). This has the advantage of allowing you to use all the interfaces functions without losing the convenience of the original hands-free system or A2DP functionality.

IMPORTANT NOTES
- To activate the interface, it must be turned on manually using a factory-installed button, not via a factory-installed menu using software.
- Once the interface is activated, it uses the entire factory-installed monitor. No vehicle-related overlays are displayed anymore.
- The comprehensive operation of the interface does not correspond to the operation of the factory-installed infotainment system and differs from it.
- The DAB+ radio is activated and operated via the interfaces control menu, not via the factory infotainment systems menu.
- The phone functions are activated and operated via the interfaces control menu, not via the factory infotainment systems menu.
- To receive DAB+ digital radio, an antenna must be installed in a suitable location with good reception.
- For vehicles equipped with a controller and a touchscreen, the touchscreen is not supported for operation on all vehicles.

VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY
Before purchasing and installing, please verify that the product is fully compatible with your vehicle type, model year, and entertainment system. Your entertainment system must have an analog audio AUX input or Bluetooth Audio A2DP for sound playback. Incompatibility can result in damage.

SMARTPHONE COMPATIBILITY
ATTENTION: Some manufacturers (such as Samsung) use their own customized OS based on Android. Under certain circumstances, wireless utilization may not be possible with these devices.

INSTALLATION NOTE
This product is designed for use in vehicles with a 12V battery. Please do not install it in vehicles with any other voltage. Never extend the HSD signal lines. This product consists of high-precision parts and should not be subjected to heavy impacts. Never open the housing.
To ensure driving safety and prevent traffic law violations, never operate the product while driving. Optional rearview cameras are only intended to provide visibility while maneuvering. Always pay attention to your surroundings and never rely solely on the camera.
All installation steps should only be carried out by a trained professional. The ignition must be turned off during installation, and the product must only be connected to power after the wiring is completely finished. NEVER plug in or unplug cables while the device is powered on, as this may damage the monitor or the product.
Route all cables so that they do not come into contact with sharp metal edges, which could damage the wiring and cause fires. Avoid any contact with hot surfaces when wiring the main unit, as high temperatures can damage the insulation, leading to short circuits, electric arcs, and fires. Please DO NOT install the product in damp or humid environments to avoid electric shocks, damage, and fires caused by short circuits.
Upon receiving the product, please verify that all components are included in the package. If anything is missing, please inform your supplier/manufacturer immediately. Start the engine before loading, check if the interface function displays properly, and test the key controls to ensure the vehicle interface functions correctly. Please provide feedback to your supplier/manufacturer if you have any questions.
Please handle disassembled vehicle parts with care during installation to avoid scratching the dashboard. Unused connector plugs must be insulated to prevent short circuits. Ensure all cable connections are securely plugged in. Avoid any interference with control components such as the steering wheel, accelerator, or brake pedals.
